I am 77 years old and have suffered with MS for over 17 years, although I do believe I had my first attack when I was 30 years old - 47 years ago, however, they could not diagnoise it as they did not have MRI's, they said it was from stress.
In 2011 a friend of mine Ann saw that I was exhausted, in considerable pain and that I had to wear my dark sunglasses, use my cane for support and balance and that my skin was as white as snow. On her insistance I went to her for Bowen Therapy the next day.
When I arrived I could barely get out of my vehicle and the short walk to her door was very painful. The four steps that met me on the way to the treatment room were a great challenge!
An hour later after a very gentle and relaxing treatment I was able to my great surprise without any difficulty walk without the use of my cane and the stairs were no challenge whatsoever. I felt energized, relaxed and on top of the world, a brand new woman!
I attended weekly for four weeks feeling stronger and more energetic with longer periods of relief from MS each time. I must add that I had had micorscopic surgery on both my knees prior to my Bowen treatments and the pain in both no longer bothered me.
Ann suggested after four consecutive weeks of treatments and my feeling very well that I have treatments when I felt symptoms of tiredness, pain etc. and my next appointment was in a months time. After that treatment I enjoyed three months relief and then I returned a full five months later as I had found my right knee was giving me pain. Ann did Bowen and the relief was amazing.
I am a very busy woman with my Church and community volunteering, with the MS society. I enjoy the many group studies and do hospital volunteering as well.
Bowen has made my days and life brighter, more energized and amazingly pain free. I must add that the girls where I do my Banking commented right after my first and many times after that on how wonderful I looked again. I highly recommend people inquire and try Bowen as it works on balancing the body so that it works at it's peak.
